2009-10 NBA Court Designs

Matt Rachmiel, a frequent contributor to this page, has provided the link to a page that depicts this upcoming season's court designs for all NBA teams.

  1. Who has the best and worst this year? OKC's is pretty horrible. I'm not sure how I feel about the two-tone look in places like Charlotte and Minnesota. I think my favorite might be the clean look in New Jersey.

  2. I like that the 76ers have gone back to red, white, and blue, instead of black, blue, and gold. There's a feature I dislike on the Lakers' court. Whereas all the other teams have the out-of-bounds area as a solid rectangular frame in one color, the Lakers' out-of-bounds area is primarily gold, but purple under the baskets.

  3. The University of Memphis also has the Lakers' style under the baseline, where the baseline is one color, except under the basket it is another color (blue, I think) and says "Memphis" or "Tigers" under the basket as well.
